Description
Classical subject in oil, figures in a wooded landscape, in the manner of the late Continental academic painters. Housed in a carved and gilded frame with egg-and-dart moulding. Shown above the black marble chimneypiece from the same residence. Surface dirt and old varnish; would reward careful cleaning.
