Description
Close detail of the same bureau, offered to show the quality of the inlay and the crispness of the bronze. The marquetry panels depict scrolling foliage and urns in contrasting fruitwoods, with fine engraved detail to the leaves. Mounts retain a warm original gilding with no evidence of relacquering.
